The Atlanta Pride Committee produces the
annual Pride Festival and Parade.
The Festival is head each year on the last weekend in June to commemorate the Stonewall Riots, which launched the modern GLBT rights movement.
The festival typically attracts over 300,000 peole and hosts a variety of performers, artists, community and food booths, and special guest speakers. There is also a Pride Parade through Midtown on the last day of the Festival.
