Compound Atlanta
Throw on your best designer outfit, jouge your hair and cough up the cover charge so you too can become one of the beautiful people who flock every weekend to Compound.
This über-posh club is situated on the west side of the city in an area that has enjoyed much recent rebirth. Compound is actually more of a club complex, with several different bars, buildings and courtyards to entice you. Past the velvet rope you'll find an outdoor Zen garden complete with rock pathways, bamboo and a reflecting pool fed by gurgling fountains.
Mies van der Rohe couldn't have designed anything more striking than the lounge "MB1" which showcases various DJs and has a great audio and video system along with another full bar. Step out the back door and you'll find another sub-club called "Ride" which includes a huge dance house and 20 flat screens lining the walls (as well as a super hard-hitting sound system that will definitely put a beat in your brain!).
Although the crowd is mostly metrosexual and trendsexual, a fair share of gay boys love to come and dance here too.
Insider Tip: Keep your eyes out for the private VIP bedroom that includes an all-glass shower for celebrities and VIPs who may start to feel just a little bit dirty. If you can get in, you never know who you might bump into!
