Druid Hills Atlanta

Druid Hills was designed in 1893 by Frederick Law Olmsted, one of America's most famous landscape architects (who also designed Central Park in New York City).

The park-like area is filled with many large, elegant homes by noted architects such as Neel Reid, W.T. Downing, and Philip Trammell Shutze. This leafy neighborhood was the inspiration for the Academy Award-winning film "Driving Miss Daisy."

If you keep your eyes open, you may even spy Miss Daisy's home, which is located on Lullwater Avenue. Druid Hills is also located near the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, a great stop if you enjoy nature and science.
