7 Stages Atlanta
Founded in 1979 by two theater lovers, 7 Stages started out with a mission: "To create a haven for artists and audiences to address the social, political, and spiritual issues in their daily lives."
Originally a 65-seat theatrical outfit in an old storefront, 7 Stages has grown to fill a renovated 1920s movie house. The main stage seats 200, and the smaller theater seats 90. The shows staged here tend to be edgy... then even took a risk hosting '10 Naked Men," who were indeed... naked!
