Over the next three decades her career continued to grow while hosting Charlie Brown's X-Rated Cabaret at Backstreet and later at Underground Atlanta. Today she continues performing throughout the city at various venues.
In her own words:
“Atlanta is the heart of the New South’s gay culture. Our gay and lesbian community, the largest in the Southeast, offers a degree of freedom and a wealth of experience that can't be found anywhere else. Tens of thousands of gays from across America and around the world visit our city each year. Most of them happily return, many never leave.
Gay businesses also abound in Atlanta. From our vibrant nightlife—which I’m particularly proud of—to our shops, galleries, restaurants, and lodging, visitors have a veritable smorgasbord of delights from which to choose. I’ve been host to thousands of first-time visitors to our city over the years. It’s been my pleasure to be an unofficial “Atlanta Ambassador” for our community.
