Tonight: Thank GLAAD It's Friday | Atlanta

GLAAD Thanks to everyone who's bought tickets to the Thank GLAAD It's Friday | Atlanta event tonight (Friday) at Blake's on the Park!

Several of you have asked questions about it, so I thought I'd put together a list of the most frequently asked questions:

Q: Are the drinks really free?
A: Yes, all Absolut drinks are free from 7-9.

Q: Will there be a long line?
A: Probably, which is why you should get your tickets online prior to the event.

Q: Can I buy my ticket at the door?
A: Yes.

Q: Blake's never has a cover - why should I pay $35?
A: Besides the fact that you're helping an important nonprofit, you also get 2 hours of free Absolut drinks on 3 different nights, plus a 1-year GLAAD Membership that's normally $40.

Q: So I can come to all 3 events for the $35?
A: Yes - this Friday, October 26 & November 30, plus you get 2 hours of Absolut cocktails at each event!

Q: Does ATLANTAboy.com get any of the $35?
A: No. All of the proceeds go to GLAAD.

Q: Is my purchase tax deductible?
A: Yes, as a charitable donation.

Q: What is GLAAD?
A: GLAAD is the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, the 3rd largest LGBT organization that fights for fair and inclusive representation in the media (see http://www.glaad.org).

Q: Didn't Perez just write something about GLAAD?
A: Yes, about gay characters disappearing from TV. GLAAD just completed its annual study on it here.

Q: What else do I get with my ticket?
A: The chance to win tickets to the GLAAD Media Awards
in your choice of LA, NY, Miami or San Francisco!

P.S. All of your favorite gay-friendly celebs are already involved with GLAAD including Kathy Griffin, Rosie O'Donnell, Ellen DeGeneres and many more. Join them by getting your ticket to tonight's event which includes a 1-year Membership to GLAAD!
